As a total coffee addict who’s been visiting, and even occasionally living in Antibes over the last ten years, I’ve got strong opinions on where I get my caffeine fix.
When I started coming here as a tourist, I quickly some of the best coffee in Antibes at NOMADS Coffee.
I’ll admit, I’m even sitting in NOMADS writing this as I wait to switch Airbnbs (I’m a bit addicted to this town and always extend my time here).
Over the last decade, I’ve also explored a lot of other local gems, and found a few other spots I love to hit up almost as much as NOMADS, thanks to all my friends who live here year-round.
Lucky for you, I believe all of us caffeine addicts need to stick together.
So, since I’m sure you’re probably craving that first jolt of espresso, let’s get right into where to find the best coffee in Antibes’ Old Town.

NOMADS has been my ride or die coffee spot in Antibes for the last decade.
It’s a creative space complemented by deliciously crafted coffee, amazing pastries (including gluten-free options), fabulous and friendly service, and free wifi.
I’m normally here most mornings grabbing my first double espresso of the day, along with their delicious banana bread.
Keep an eye out. During the summer, they even have a small pop up location in the port. I love stopping here for a double espresso to enjoy at the beach.
La Torref de Fersen is one of my favorite places in town to meet friends for an espresso or strong iced coffee.
Once you step inside, you’ll quickly realize that this place is all about taking coffee seriously.
I really like that it’s a bit more into town, so it is easier to score seating.
Plus, everyone who works here is so nice. I always end up here at least a few times a week while I’m in Antibes.
I promise you’ll enjoy starting your morning with their aromatic espresso in their cozy shop.
At Copenhagen Coffee Lab, you’ll love indulging in their Scandinavian ambiance while tasting exquisite single-origin coffee.
I just had a great Americano here the other morning with my dad at the recommendation of a friend who summers here and is obsessed with this spot.
The service was great, and the coffee was delicious.
Just know, this place gets busy, since it’s just beside the local Marche Provencale, so you may not score a table.
Good Mate Coffee is one of the newer coffee places in town.
It’s a tiny space with incredibly limited seating, so it’s an ideal spot to grab a to-go coffee to take to the beach or to enjoy while strolling around town.
I’ve really have been loving their iced coffees, since it isn’t always the easiest thing to find in France.
Lilian Bonnefoi is my absolute favorite place in Antibes for a sitdown coffee, ideally paired with brunch.
You’re in for a treat if you order my all-time favorite French Toast.
It’s on fresh brioche and paired with seasonal fruits and mascarpone cream. I’m there at least once a week for it.
If you want to go during the weekend, call for a reservation, as walk-in availability will be limited, as all the locals know this is the only spot for brunch!
Relish in the sweet allure of the adorable Choopy’s Cupcakes & Coffee shop.
Their cupcakes are a must-try with your caffeine pick-me-up.
Plus, the interior of this place is seriously adorable, and perfect for a little Instagram moment.
They also do a lovely brunch and have lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
Le Goût offers a friendly vibe where you can expect to find a solid coffee and a variety of options for a tasty breakfast or a brunch.
Their brunch is huge, with an option to choose either sweet or savory.
I always go for the sweet option, but I’ve never been able to get through all the food that comes with it.
This is a great spot close to the port, making it ideal for people watching while you wake up with your morning caffeine.
My go-to spot in town to work on my laptop is NOMADS. They have strong WiFi and strong coffee to go along with it!
I love sitting outside NOMADS for a traditional French café experience. Their coffee is fantastic, as are their pastries, plus you get to do some amazing people watching from the sidewalk.
La Torref de Fersen also has outdoor seating, that’s normally easier to snag, since it’s in a less touristy part of town.
If you want to sit for a proper meal, make a brunch reservation at Lilian Bonnefoi and request their outdoor seating, which is lovely.
For a quick coffee with outdoor seating near Antibes’ famous market, head to Copenhagen Coffee Lab.
When visiting Antibes, you’re in for a treat with the local bakeries and patisseries that dot this quaint French Riviera town.
