Nestled between Nice and Cannes, this coastal town has a ton of incredible dining experiences that will leave you coming back for more.

I should know, I’ve been spending part of every summer in Antibes for the last seven years, and my first stop is always Gelateria del Porto.

The town has so many amazing options, ranging from cozy bistros to Michelin-starred establishments.

Lucky for you, after visiting Antibes for 7 years, I’ve found some of the best restaurants in Antibes and I’m willing to share all the details.

Read on to find out my favorite spots to grab a bite in Antibes!

Best Restaurants in Antibes

1. La Passagère

Savor elegant French cuisine with a stunning sea view at La Passagère, inside Belles Rives.

There’s a great literary history here too, Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald used to stay at Belles Rives back in the day, and the restaurant still carries that golden-age glamour.

It’s on my list for an upcoming trip, the atmosphere and presentation are supposed to be exceptional.

Budget: Set menus run €175–€250 (Green Light, La Mer en Héritage, Invitation au Voyage tiers), with an average per-person spend around €208.

Address: 33 Bd Edouard Baudoin, 06160 Antibes, France

2. Louroc Restaurant

For a taste of Provençal-inspired dishes, head to Louroc Restaurant, inside Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

For a taste of Provençal-inspired dishes, head to Louroc Restaurant, inside Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

It’s one Michelin star and known for its glamorous ambience and exceptional service, exactly the kind of high-end meal worth saving for a special occasion.

I was supposed to go on a date here a few years back, but sadly it didn’t work out, so it’s high on my list for an upcoming trip.

Budget: The six-course tasting menu starts at €265 per person.

Address: Bd J. F. Kennedy, 06160 Antibes, France

3. Mer Sea

La Mer Sea in Antibes South of France summer 2024

Head to Le Mer Sea for the best seafood in Antibes. Besides having tons of lovely fresh fish, you’ll also find a great wine list and wonderful service.

The guys who run it are actually friends of mine, and they’re some of the most genuinely lovely people I’ve met in town.

This is a local gem for good reason, everything here is so fresh, and the service is amazing. It’s the perfect spot for a chill lunch or romantic date night.

Budget: This is a splurge-worthy spot, expect to pay more for quality cuts like crab and lobster, so prices can climb quickly if you order the good stuff (which you should).

Book ahead: This place is genuinely popular with limited seating, so don’t show up without a reservation, especially for dinner.

Address: 16 Cr Masséna, 06600 Antibes, France

4. Bistro Chez Jules

ALLY-BISTRO-CHEZ-JULES-ANTIBES-FRANCE-APRIL-2022

Bistro Chez Jules offers a cozy atmosphere with classic seasonal French bistro dishes, as well as delicious pastas.

This is one of my favorite dinner spots in Antibes.

I almost always default to the burrata salad (pictured with me), plus either the steak or the pasta (both are delicious).

Plus, all the vegetables they serve are hand grown on their farm and fresh, and the staff are always so nice.

Address: 10 Rue Thuret, 06600 Antibes, France

5. Café Milo

Cafe Milo in Antibes France

If you’re looking for the best mussels in town, head to one of my favorite lunch spots, Café Milo.

For a while this September my ex and I were there almost every afternoon for lunch.

We’d spend hours sitting on the terrace in the sunshine talking, laughing, and making friends with the other tables.

Their mussels are seriously addictive, especially when paired with a cheeky glass of vino. That was always our go-to order.

If mussels aren’t your thing, don’t worry, everything I’ve seen looks great.

And the crepes are fantastic if you catch them between lunch and dinner service.

Budget: Expect to spend roughly €20–€30 per person for lunch.

Address: 24 Rue Georges Clemenceau, 06600 Antibes, France

6. Nacional Trattoria

The Nacional

If you’re craving Italian, one of the most popular spots to head is Nacional Trattoria.

In fact, it’s my dad’s favorite place to go when he visits.

They have a bunch of delicious pasta and pizza dishes, as well as some solid seafood options.

I normally default to penne arrabiata, though the last time we ate here in September, we really were not at all impressed with the service.

We both observed that the women working were on top of it, but the two male servers were barely working.

Unfortunately, we noticed this issue twice now. So while I’ll give it one more chance this summer, it’s worth noting, the service here isn’t always great, even by French standards (which I’m very accustomed to).

Budget: Mains run roughly €30–€40 per person.

Address: 61 Pl. nationale, 06600 Antibes, France

7. Le Bistrot de Bacchus

Bacchaus Antibes South of france

This spot quickly became my ex and my go-to spot for takeaway.

Once a week we’d grab pizzas and a bottle of wine then go to our secret spot to have a romantic sunset picnic overlooking the Mediterranean.

Bacchus is also great dining in. The staff are great and the cocktails and delicious.

Plus, their risotto, which we used to get all the time, is delicious especially on cooler days.

Budget: Expect to spend roughly €20–€30

Address: 15 Cr Masséna, 06600 Antibes, France

8. Casa Azul

Casa Azul in Antibes

Spend your Saturday night savoring Mexican street food and people watching along Antibes’ strip.

Besides actually having spicy food (a rarity in France), they also do a great espresso martini.

Their guacamole is also a classic to munch on if you want something light with drinks.

Budget: Expect to spend roughly €20–€30 per person.

Address: 8 Rue des Palmiers, 06600 Antibes, France

9. La Casita

La Casita in Antibes

For some Spanish flavors, head to La Casita and enjoy tasty tapas.

When I was staying in Antibes, my ex and I would always meet friends for dinner here.

It’s super cute and right in the middle of Old Town, making it great for people watching.

The best part is they do solid mixed drinks and have plenty of outdoor seating, which is always filled, so get there early!

Budget: Tapas-style pricing, expect to spend roughly €20–€30 per person, depending on how much you drink.

Address: 3 Rue Aubernon, 06600 Antibes, France

Local’s Tip: Right up the street you’ll find some of the best gelato in the world at Gelateria del Porto, so save room for dessert!

10. Le Cafe Brun

Cafe Brun in Antibes

The most charming place in town to unwind with a glass of wine is Le Cafe Brun.

They have a menu filled with expertly prepared French dishes, delicious cocktails, and amazing desserts.

This is one of my favorite summer date night spots.

My ex and I used to love to snag a table on the terrace and share a bottle of rose while indulging in their amazing burgers.

They also have a really fresh tomato and mozzarella salad.

Or sometimes we’d just end up there after one of our evening strolls, for some late night for drinks and people watching.

Even solo, this is easily one of my favorite go-to spots to eat in Antibes.

Budget: Expect to spend roughly €30–€40 per person.

Address: 8 Rue Aubernon, 06600 Antibes, France

11. Salé/Sucré

Sale Sucre antibes

One of my friends recently told me that the next time I’m in town, I need to try Salé/Sucré.

Since I trust their tastes, I tried it with my dad last summer, and wow do I understand why it’s her favorite.

She told me she and her husband’s family wandered in one night and were blown away by how amazing the food was.

So much so that they returned another time before their trip was over.

While I only managed to snag a table here once, the dessert, wine list, and the steak will definitely have me coming back

Budget: Expect to spend roughly €20–€30 per person.

Address: 5 Av. 24 Août, 06600 Antibes, France

chez jules filet mignon in antibes france summer 2023

Antibes really has a wonderful dining scene that has something for everyone.

I seriously cannot wait for my next lunch of mussels and frites at Cafe Milo before some beach time with dinner at Chez Jules afterwards…next summer can’t come soon enough.

Oh, and obviously one (or two) stops for gelato from Gelateria del Porto will also be required eating for my first day back in town.

I hope you enjoy your time in Antibes, and whatever meal you’re heading off to try!
