Unlike the United States, where everyone wears the same Zara finds, and can easily look like carbon copies of each other, people in France stand out for having outfits you can’t always easily replicate.
This isn’t anything new.
In fact, the “City of Love” has always had a certain “je ne sais quoi” when it comes to fashion.
It’s my belief that part of it’s indescribably chic style comes from the easy way that French-style icons mix haute couture fashion with unique vintage finds.

At RoseMarket Vintage you’ll find beautiful haute couture pieces from Chanel, Celine, Saint Laurent, and more.
Besides clothes, they also have a bunch of designer bags and accessories to choose from.
They’ve got tons of fashion ranging from the 1970s to 1990s, which will give you plenty of variety when looking through their racks.

You know a vintage store is cool when pieces from their store show up on Sarah Jessica Parker in HBO’s Just Like That.
My favorite detail about this vintage store is that they arrange everything in the store based on color.
So not only is the store aesthetically pleasing, it’s easy to shop based on whichever colors you know you look good in.
Thanx God I’m a V.I.P. has got tons of Chanel, YSL, Hermes, Dior, and more to choose from.
Everything is in excellent shape, with prices that will make it easier to splurge on a special souvenir from Paris.

Célia Darling Vintage
I’m obsessed with this store’s Instagram photos.
They beautifully style every single one of their photos, and their feed almost has a bit of an Emily in Paris vibe to it.
Unfortunately, the day I went to shop at Célia Darling Vintage, the store was closed.
Though I’m pretty certain based on what I’ve seen online, they have pieces you’ll love no matter if your personal style is an Emily, Mindy, or Cami.
Just call ahead to double check their hours, as they don’t seem to always be open according to schedule.

If you’re looking for a well-curated vintage shop boasting a mixture of low and high end pieces, Nuovo is a fabulous choice.
You will find quality original items, especially accessories, that you won’t see anywhere else.
It’s also cool because, besides the amazing vintage pieces, they also offer some limited edition clothing collection originals from the store.

Head to Mamie Blue to find gorgeous vintage clothing and accessories, plus some original modern pieces.
They’ve got tons of great stuff from the 1930s to about the 1980s, with an extensive selection of caps and trousers.

Chine Machine
Head to Chine Machine in the 10th for fantastic retro finds.
You’ll see a mixture of designer goods, including vintage Prada, Alaia, Givenchy, plus general more affordable pieces to mix and match.
The best part is that the store isn’t overly cluttered, so it’s easy to quickly make your way through the racks.

Best Thrift Stores in Paris
Tilt Vintage
Boasting beautiful pieces from the 60s to 90s, Tilt Vintage has several quality items hanging on their racks.
They’ve got a location both in the 4th arrondissement and the 6th.
Though I think the 6th has a better selection, which is why I’ve included its address below.
The staff is both lovely and helpful, and best of all willing to give fashion advice.
Plus, if you hit up the location in the 6th there’s other vintage shops nearby you can also check out.

Guerrisol
Head to one of the many Guerrisol stores in Paris to find some of the most affordable thrifting around.
I’ve heard hitting up on weekdays not only leads to fewer people in the store shopping but also sometimes better pricing.
This is definitely a spot where you’ll need to sift through the racks to find treasures.
Like always, when thrifting, check for working zippers, and any tears before purchasing.
They have a bunch of locations around the city. I’ve listed their location in the 18th, since that’s the one with the highest reviews.

If you’re looking for contemporary streetwear, add Kiliwatch Paris to your shopping list.
They’ve got a great selection of both men’s and women’s vintage clothing, plus remade, and new items as well.
I really like their leather jacket options, they’ve got a ton to browse through.
Their prices are on the higher side, so don’t expect to find too many amazing deals here.

Scarves have been making a comeback in fashion, so naturally, one of my favorite things about Vintage Désir is their famous 1 Euro scarf rack.
They also have a ton of reasonably priced pieces, making it the perfect place to stock up on any clothing items you forgot to pack.
Because this place is super popular, and fairly small, expect it to be packed if you go during the after work rush.
This is one place where it’s preferable to go in the morning for a less chaotic shopping experience.
