So I was thrilled when I learned about Horizn Studios and their commitment to prioritize cruelty-free materials and the use of recycled packaging, especially when I saw how chic their designs are.

I’ve spent the last three months testing this bag out all through Europe and the United States.

Rest assured, knowing I’ve dragged it through tons of airports, train stations, and across miles of cobblestone streets, onto countless flights, a few trains, and tons of Ubers and metros.

One of the first things I think about when researching a new luggage purchase is the length of the trip I’m planning on using it for.

Depending on your packing style, you could easily use this carry-on for anything from a weekend away to a month away.

While I’ll admit, you need minimalist packing skills to live out of this bag a whole month; it is possible.

Plus, it’s a lot easier rolling this bag around Europe in the summer heat compared to a huge checked bag or giant backpack.

In fact, the wheels on this luggage held up beautifully despite being dragged over tons of cobblestone in France, and was simple to navigate through tons of airports and hectic New York sidewalks.

Another bonus about this bag is that it fits the dimension restrictions for most airlines, including budget ones that always are strict with measurements.

And, if you get the Smart version, you can charge your phone multiple times without the need to recharge the suitcase battery.

Horizn Studios Lifetime Product Warranty

Since Horizn Studios believes the most sustainable product is the one you only have to buy once, they offer customers a lifetime warranty on suitcases.

The only catch is you need to use your receipt to sign up for the warranty on their website.

For those who forgot to register their item online, there is still hope as a warranty will cover it, albeit for only two years.

Keep in mind, the warranty does not cover things like:

• Damage from abusive handling by airlines

• Regular wear and tear

• Cosmetic damage (scratches or stains)

Performance

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some Horizn Studios luggage after they reached out, offering to send me their M5 cabin luggage to review.

I’d been wanting to invest in one of their bags ever since I read about their sustainability practices, and their timing was perfect, as I was about to set off on three months of travel across the US, Europe, and Africa.

The first thing I was dying to find out was if a bag this chic and responsibly crafted could hold up against almost constant travel this summer.

Spoiler alert, the bag held up really well, and received lots of compliments along the way.

I was also really impressed with how much I managed to squeeze into my bag.

Since it was summer, and clothes were less bulky, I could travel for a couple months, living only out of my Horizn Studio luggage.
